Why should they bother bombing the white house? They have the power and the money to get a dem elected to the white house, and then they will have their friend who can do all sorts of things to favor the head-choppers.

On the other hand, he can have Cheney blow the nuts off a captured terrorist with a shotgun as the halftime show in the next superbowl and the country will elect Republicans for the next 20 years.
Winning American hearts and minds is not that hard, if you're willing to discard that PC bullscat and tick off the bleedinghearts.
