Droves of good officers left the military during the carter years, and the same thing happened during clinton.

This President and his Secretary of Defense have tried to prepare the military for the next war.

The disrespect heaped on them is a disgrace.

I'm getting too old for this stuff anyway, and will try to serve my current commitment, which ends in June of next year. If anything, I may re-up for one more year and leave in 2008.
