How can the results of this eleciton NOT effect our lives??? We're at war, our military is overseas fighting and dying for us, and most voters have just been stupid enough to turn the Congress over to the party that thinks the miltiary are all baby killers. How do we NOT let that effect our lives??? The Democrat party is not an acceptable alternative and hasn't eben for over 50 years.

One of mine has already said that he isn't going to reup under liberals.

America has spoken. They are not supporting a war on terror. We have pulled the MFVOV website due to lack of feedback from families who wish to speak up about media bias.

I certainly cannot blame your son for not wanting to reup under these RATs. Thank him (and your other sons) once again for their fine and brave service to our country.

What a shame many of the Best and Brightest in our military will probably not reup because of the results of this election. Sad that so many people in this country were too lazy to bother to question, or do a little searching for the TRUTH beyond what the MSM/DBM spoon-feeds them... :-(

Do you suppose the results might of been different if Conservative Talk Show hosts, National Conservative Columnists and supposedly Conservative Websites did not spent 40% or more of their time shooting their own side in the back?

So the Poll Worshipers blew it in 1980, 1994, 1996, 2000, 2202, 2004 but got close in 2006.

Suspicious?

Your model doesn't work. The Japanese were allowed to vote for parliament and a prime minister in 1946 (less than a year after surrender!) under their pre-war Constitution. Also, Truman let them keep the emperor. Their nation was "destroyed." We turned it over very quickly to Japanese voters. In Iraq, we waited far longer.....with poor results.

Quick question...what's wrong with supporting the liberation of the people in Iraq?

Why is that something we should hang our head in shame about?

I'm curious as to your answer on this.

The problem I saw was that the GOP did not get their message out to the regular folks, NOT the folks that gather here on FR, we got the messsage, we "get it", but so many people that do not follow politics as we do ever "got it", and that explanation should have come out to them a long time ago, instead all they got was what the MSM fed them, we allowed it to happen. I don't know how many times I would hear someone from the GOP speak and I would notice they weren't making it clear enough. I think some of us could have done a much better job getting the people to understand, maybe next time we need to raise funds to get some air time! LOL

Bookmarked ... that says it far better than my evidentially futile pleas on the Florida board.

"It was the war, pure and simple. Those conservative Democrats (Rush's term) who won ran, with the notable exception of the not-so-conservative Lieberman, as antiwar candidates"

the war is going well

I think immigration had more to do with republican dissapointment not the war.

90% of the country does not want open borders and unchecked immigration, but oops there it is

unchecked immigration will destroy our country....

rest assured Rush will not bring that up

did I hear correctly that turnout was only 40% - whose fault is that? Not throwing stones - just wondering.
