Just finished reading the thread JimRob posted about this. Now that the secret of them being there is out, I would love to see their stories and sentiments receive some media attention. They deserve to be heard.
Prayers for a safe trip!

As I posted in another thread, we're looking to see if we can get this mentioned on Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" around or after 9:00 AM. We're working on it...

Thanks for the article & the thread..
I feel so glad they are there & hope that it will be healing for them as they do this great good will mission. How the troops there will embrace them.. emotionally & physically. Just like having their mom & dads visit!

Smiles, hugs and words of encouragement will be wholeheartedly given to the troops, criticized by a liberal-left media.I can think of nothing our troops would love better than smiles and hugs from these people. This is a thousand times better than any other American. Mom and Pop America, there to tell them "good job!"

Three cheers for the Good Guys!
Oh, just wait for Georgie Stephanopoulos to try to cover and fill on Sunday. What odds the words "October surprise" will fall from his lips?
And if not from his, then surely from someone's over at CBS KGB.

Hey, Allegra, when do you get "unstuck"?
Hope the folks will be okay -- the Ali Babas won't like this.
By the way, I have the impression that the term Ali Baba has passed out of circulation -- that it's sort of "2003". Is my impression correct?

The surprise trip couldnt have happened at a more meaningful timeIncredibly good news. Wow!!! What huge hearts these families have.

This is the announcement promoted by MAF earlier in the week. Look for an official announcement shortly.

Allegra, are they going to be safe over there with this news getting out? I think so. I imagine they're here now. All the flights from Amman will have come in by now and it's a short flight.
Americans come in here by the hundreds every day - either for company visits, returning from leave or just arriving for jobs. I don't think this group will really have more target value than the rest of us, which is good. They'll have good security and that's what makes a difference.
These folks are to be especially commended. They've never been here before and that first time in is scary, no matter who you are. I'll wager that President Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and the rest of them have gotten "the butterflies" the first time they came in here. I know I did.
This delegation is coming here for a noble cause and it's very brave of them to do it. KUDOS to them all.

Hey, Allegra, when do you get "unstuck"? Whenever I get a better education, of course. Just ask John Kerry. ;-)
I'll be home in January.
