I have been fighting against the Marxist "everything is political" (art, science, cooking, etc.) for more than ten lustrums. It's sad (but not surprising) to see that such an idea has taken hold with Conservatives.
My stomach dropped when I read that post.
It was science, skepticism, logic and reason that brought me to the right in the first place.
Now I'm being told that I made a mistake. :(

It's sad (but not surprising) to see that such an idea has taken hold with Conservatives.,p> I think some of the Conservatives have been worn out by fighting it too--either they have been exposed to it for too long, and have in resignation begun to believe it, since it is all they see; or they have got tired of losing with high principles and have decided to fight fire with fire.
