I know it certainly could be coincidence, but considering that the producers are constantly trying to get their stars on The View to help garner the yenta ratings, it seems to me that they would know exactly what they were doing when the named the victim.
There's really know way of knowing, but I suspect the pissy little liberal hate freaks gave themselves one of those wouldnt it be funny if a conservative was raped and killed?! chuckles.

Difference between Dems and Republicans --
Q: Mr. Dukakis, your critics say you are soft on crime. I ask you, if you found out that your beloved wife had been raped and murdered, what would be your reaction?
A: Well, MA General Laws on the topic of rape, are wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk."
Republicans actually get upset and outraged.

She's got good grounds for a lawsuit. She should go after these bums big time. Coincidence that a character names Elisabeth Hassleback, a famous person on TV people watch every day, is 'fictionally' raped and murdered? Yeah, riiiight!

I'm guessing you don't know that Elizabeth has politically conservative beliefs.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck spoke at the Republican National Convention for the 2004 election. She's very conservative and loves President Bush. She has no problems backing Rosie down on "The View" - and does it quite well. She stands up to Walters as well.
I'm sure she was very upset at that film.

I think Rosie O'Donnell is the dumbest human alive and I can't take watching the view, but every once in a while I see a little youtube blurb over at hotair.com. I give Elizabeth great credit for jumping into the gaping maw of the beast and duking it out as best she can with a bunch of harpies for whom any deviation from the Democratic kool-aid would be heresy.
She's easy on the eyes, and she has a functioning brain. She's doing a damned difficult job putting up with that bunch, and I admire her for putting herself out there.

I don't know. What did you have for dinner last night? Neither question is relevant.

I hear they are planning a new show where a famous politician named Hillary Clanten is beheaded by Amish extremists. That should be OK.

I'd sue. It looks like they did it on purpose. She's the only conservative on the show, and she gets raped and killed? Why couldn't they use that character to be a peripheral one like a witness? I'd sue.

If they named a murdered character "Rosie O'Connell" it would be JUST a coincidence too, I'm sure.

Granted I've don't watch the view often, but the episodes I've seen have not shown Elisabeth to be very good at backing Rosie down.

The MSM is truly insane. Their bias has infected their brains. They want the republicans off the face of the earth.

One of the stars of the SVU program, Vincent D'Onofrio, is a barking moonbat of the worst description.

Actually, D'Onofrio is on "Criminal Intent", but he's still a barking moonbat.
Maybe his "alien bug" character in "MIB" infected his brain?
