it was reported the Pres ate bar-b-cue and ice cream, none of which is in that photo. Oh that makes me feel a little better. Then that's NOT bar-b-que on that plate? Even so it's still unappetizing looking IMO.

This President is the greatest person in the world. So sincere, refreshing and interested in what he does. I just absolutely love and adore this man.

***And you wrote some time ago that you wanted a wood stove for emergncies like this. Good thing you had it ready. It would have been a lot more uncomfortable for you if you had not had it ready. What a storm!***
Yes, it was, Tom. There were six thousand elec. poles down, plus thousands and thousands and thousands of individual lines. I have to say that the people in my town have been terrific about getting out there and removing large branches, etc. from the streets. And many people were running lines from their generators to neighbors whose sump pumps wouldn't work. And all over four counties, women were heard screaming, "I want my vacuum cleaner back."

i really don't know if it's bar-b-cue, but to me bar-b-cue is reddish. Could be. if so, looks like WHITISH-GRAY barbcue.

It did look pretty gross, didn't it? But I love hushpuppies and barbecue.

but to me bar-b-cue is reddish that's what I thought, but now that I think back to the few times I've had pork bar-b-que, I do remember some of it was "pork" color.
