Go to sleep and wake up back at DU. What is the matter, that Foley thing not working out? Too bad, conservatives are still going to vote, vuh vye.
My prediction: Conservatives will get out and vote this November but they want to take someone down. I can feel it. They want to show the elites in our party that we have the ability to take out one of our own. This prediction is based on the level of disgust people are experiencing.Or, it could be that Pat Buchanan works as a ghostwriter.
Texas survived Ann Richards and Bill Clinton...and that dark time reminded the GOP that Republican voters wanted CONSERVATIVE candidates who would FIGHT instead of compromise. However, the GOP seems to have forgotten that lesson lately.
Now we'll have to do this dance again. Hopefully the GOP gets it this time. If not, forget seeing a Republican majority for another 40 years...
