My poor son arrived in Hawaii a couple of days ago on business. It's his first trip. I was talking with him on the phone when it hit. He said "Oh my God, an earthquake". He was on the 13th floor of his hotel in Honolulu. He said the building swayed. He said there is no water or electricity. I last talked with him about an hour ago.
Poor guy! His first business trip?
tell him to NOT go to the airport. did they evacuate him from the hotel?
Oh my gosh...well, that's turning into quite an adventure for him, isn't it?
How long was he SUPPOSE to have stayed? And wonder if he'll get out when he was due to return.

Glad he is OK (shook up for sure in the nerve and adrenalin mode) and glad it was not a vacation trip. I know you wish it was a non trip altogether.
