The Secret Service spends a lot of resources dealing with this kind of crap. They are obligated to investigate every instance that is brought to their attention.
I am quite certain that the girl is lying about how she was treated. I had a coworker who received one of these visits (at work, of course) about three years ago. He told me about it afterward. The agents were polite, but firm, and merely wanted to convince themselves that he posed no real threat to the President.
Of course, the fact that they came to where he worked, and he nearly got fired as a result, made quite an impression. The VP of Human Resources had a fairly lengthly conversation with the agents and the company President had a brief one. They were not pleased.

In a previous life, I worked closely with the USSS for two years. They were some of the most professional people I've been associated with. They have a hard job and were only doing their job when they questioned this little twit. Kudos to her parents for raising such a fine upstanding citizen. They can be proud....NOT.
