A bar tender here in San Francisco said, down there in Texas you guys think football is a religion - I corrected him told him it was THE religion. Was Troy Aikman on that Lawton team?

Texas? Only steers and queers come from Texas, Private Cowboy. And you don't look much like a steer to me so that kinda narrows it down.

Oregon beat Oklahoma (sung to the tune of "With a Little Help From my Friends")
What do you do when the Ducks are behind?
Would you use a Pac 10 referee?
Give them the ball on an onside kick call
And then claim it's a real victory.
Oh they get by with a little help from the refs,
Recover the ball with a little help from the refs,
Interference calls with a little help from the refs.
What do you do with the Sooners ahead?
Would you take the loss like you were men?
Have the refs throw a flag
And then you can brag
That you knew you would win all along
(Chorus)
I'm a Texas fan, but that was the most flagrant screwing of a team I've seen this year.

Sounds like you've watched "Officer & a agentleman" too many times.

I'm not saying it is, but, the only state worse might be Nebraska. They have ONE team and nothing else. Worse, some of those Nebraska farm boys are horses, and prove it in the NFL. Their fans are also crazier, IF that's possible.
(Before I get flamed, I grew up an okie and am more than proud of my heritage and wishing for Texas and Nebraska loses. LOL)

Very good! I like it.
I didn't see the Oregon-Oklahoma game 'cause I was at the Cal game.
Good luck tomorrow.

That's from Full Metal Jacket.
