On one hand he is working for Istook but he obviously worked with the Dems to get to the GOP House Leadership by outing Foley.

It's not proven that he's the one who gave the logs to ABC. It's conceivable a leftie roommate or somebody who had access to his computer (directly or via the LAN) knew he had the logs and snarfed copies for use whenever (i.e., now).
