I am talking about everyday lingo when addressing people. I am not talking about a comedy skit.

And you have never said the n word,even just to yourself or in paraphrasing what someone else said? And I don't mean in a derogatory way, but just saying it like it's any other word.

Only once that I can remember, paraphrasing for someone Chris Rock's distinctions between "black people" and "n-words", a distinction he is qualified to discuss. I am not.

And as a fifty-one year old woman, my interaction with kids of any race is (intentionally) limited. :)
