How can they tax stuff you OWN?... Answer; they can't..Actually they can and probaly would. One of the ways is what they call a tax on imputed rent where you would have to pay a "sales tax" on the rental value of your own home.
Just because you haven't thought of a way doesn't mean it can't be done...There are people who lay awake at night figuring out ways to get your money...both legal and illegal.
