In Florida doublespeak, private stand means = stand for special interests.

Did you catch the LIE by the Palm Beach Post at the end of the article posted by 8mmmauser?

THIS IS A LIE BY THE PALM BEACH POST: "Schiavo's parents asked for a temporary restraining order against Michael. Whittemore denied the request."

The President and the U.S. Congress ordered Judge Whittemore to restore Terri's nutrition/hydration and to hold a de novo hearing (it had nothing to do w/a restraining order for Mikey and the murderers). Judge Whittemore sped up Terri's murder by defying the Prez and Congress who knew that he would.

Is there something wrong with Florida’s statutes when someone like Terri Schiavo can be starved to death? She was not in the process of dying; her death was as result of the fact that food and water were removed from her. Is there something wrong with our statutes when the courts can interpret the laws to allow that to happen?

I believe they stopped short of ordering that FV. They thought that the judges were compassionate human beings. Bending over backwards to them so as to not offend their robes got Terri killed.

Meanwhile, a researcher would probably find strong links between the soft science of anthropology, social darwinism and Nazi race theory. When they speak admiringly of Mengele's contributions to anthropology, they are giving "scientific" cover to the eugenic advancement of The Master Race.
