President Bush and Mrs. Bush receive blessing. (May God continue to bless this man who is so greatly burdened.)

It is interesting to me to see the cultural differences in our 2 countries.
In Britain women in the same position as Mrs Bush and Gov Blanco would most probably wear a hat and skirt or dress not trousers to such a service.
I am not criticizing but just observing the difference both look as smart and respectful.

It is THIS picture that tells me the humility of this GREAT MAN. He supplicates himself to the Priest, allowing the Blessing to be given. He KNOWS there is something bigger and greater. You just don't see this in any of our prior "leaders"...

Did I say "thanks" for posting the Dose? Well, THANKS!
The Pres. and Laura getting blessed individually is neat.

I'm not familiar w/this blessing thing. Is it in place of Communion? Can everyone come up and get it? Is it for ceremonial services (rather than the regular Sunday-type service)?
