I didn't see my personal favorite:

RTFT - Read The (Fine) Thread.

There's another meaning to RKBA....this is a group, similar to the viking kitties. They come in and pave over the dead troll, on dead troll threads. They are also responsible for the original UNDEAD THREAD THREAD and those that have followed.

Excellent, thanks for the information.

I would like to add the following for next years edition.

Mediacrat - Leftwing editorialists who pose as neutral journalists. They are anti America and especially Anti Bush.

Should by synonymous with:

Hezbocrats
Lezbocrats
Envirocrats
PETAcrats
Eurocrats
UNicrats

Soccer, you missed what was, IMO, the absolute funniest thread ever.

Very nice, and sure gave me some food for thought, and a walk down memory lane.

Since I found this site (can't even remember now how I did, think I searched for conservative websites and got lucky),

I:

-Got chastised, deservedly so, for being a newbie and posting threads inanely. After about three silly "vanities", I got myself in check....:)

-Discovered a place where even when fellow FReepers may disagree with my opinions, I can speak my mind, and express my thoughts That's invaluable to me.

- Found the fine folks at the "Canteen", 68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub and Co., who are the heart and soul of this board. They have always been welcoming and supportive.

-Lost my dear daddy. This place was a sanctuary for me during his last days, and Trussell and her prayer warriors helped me get through the worst time of my life.

-I met the love of my life on this website.

-I lost the love of my life during my time here. But realized that life goes on.

-Have had some great "girl talks", lots of encouragement, and sharing.

-And most importantly, became a Grandma! My little Ava Malia is the light of my life, and becoming more beautiful everyday.

God Bless all my FReeper FRiends!

Lisa

FWIIW -- the plural of Opus is Opera.

Of course, then we would all be thinking of this...

I'm glad it was a false alarm. With that being the case, that was one of the funniest threads ever! I'm crying over here!

Great job. With even "FReep" posted in its proper form, as a verb, and not as a noun as is known to (all too often) occur and irritate the heck out of me.

One note: in the Hillary list, you forgot PIAPS. And, no, I'm not volunteering to update.

= )

Ahh, yes ... the old 'Ash Alert'! Another disruptor of the time was Schopenhauer. Fondly referred to as Schope the Dope or Schope on a Rope. He was a real piece of work, but provided hours of entertainment.

No way would I do that to her. Her post was reasonable and she got hammered for it. I just was proud to have found it, and I wanted to show that anyone who doubted the way she described it that she was absolutely right. Back into the void of lore it goes.
