Senator McCain's unusually blunt attack on the Bush administration yesterday, including a claim that President Bush and other top officials led Americans to believe that the Iraq war would be "some kind of day at the beach," is fueling suspicions that the Arizona senator and potential 2008 presidential candidate is seeking to straddle rival foreign policy camps in the Republican Party.

The MSM opined this signaled the return of the Straight Talk Express.

The Republican grass roots distanced themselves from Insane-McCain long ago. Both he and Rudy Julie Annie can run on the MSM ticket.
They can be the new turd party.
Hey lets vote for a crazy Rino that doesnt see illegal immigration as a problem!
He can straddle the fence, he can jump over the fence, he can dig under the fence, he can go nuts and run through the fence, I will not vote for this crazy RINO bastid and no polls ,Media suckathons or RINO's telling me what a great candidate he will make will ever force me to.
I will write in Donald Duck first.
McCain is just telling the truth again as in "Straight Talk"...something you Bushbots just don't get. You're all SOOOO-o-o-o-o quick to forget "Mission Accomplished" and "They'll Welcome Us as Heroes" and "It'll Be Over in a Year (a albeit a Wolfowitz specialty)...
What a break for Bush. McCain is an a$$.
This is news?
That's actually untrue:
I made clear that a comprehensive immigration reform bill must include three elements:-snip-
Finally, comprehensive immigration reform must include a temporary worker program that relieves pressure on our borders, while rejecting amnesty. A temporary worker program would create a legal way to match willing foreign workers with willing American employers to fill jobs that no American is available to do. By creating a legal channel for those seeking temporary work in America, we would reduce the number of people trying to sneak across the border. This would free up law enforcement officers to focus on criminals, drug dealers, terrorists, and others who mean us harm. A temporary worker program would also improve security by creating tamper-proof identification cards, so we can keep track of every temporary worker who is here on a legal basis and identify those who are not.
A new temporary worker program should not provide amnesty. Granting amnesty would be unfair to those who follow the rules and obey the laws. Amnesty would also be unwise, because it would encourage others to break the law and create new waves of illegal immigration. We must ensure that those who break our laws are not granted an automatic path to citizenship. We should also conduct the debate on immigration reform in a manner worthy of our Nation's best traditions.
McCain shows distance from reality.
McWhacked Signals he is a Compleat A**hole ...
Let him finally win a GOP primary and we'll talk about his influence in the GOP. (An ACTUAL primary, not one where the Dems get to vote for him in OUR primary)
You ain't gonna get that from McCain. He wants to bring home the troops just as much as the kook Democrats do. He made that clear as recently as last week stumping for another RINO, Mike Dewine in Ohio.
Yup all those things were twisted and misinterpreted by lying straight talkers like yourself.
I don't care what kind of service Mclame has had.
He's as big a treasonous jerk as Murtha is.
People who vote for RINOs.
Neocon will finally go out of fashion and I still won't know what the hell it means? Am I a neocon? Is Teddy Kennedy a neocon? (cuz he was a 'new democrat' so I guess anything could be possible)
guess I'm a neocon.
awwww since he was shot-drinking with the slimy hag, as he said: "She's just one of the boys"....he thinks he can be on her ticket.....
I hope someone runs against this guy next time he is up for re-election in Arizona....he's nothing but a fool, a RINO fool at that....
I won't vote for McCain.
Save all that energy for someone who actually backs McCain. You're wasting it all on me.
