Three pillars of liberalism - moral relativity, the sexual "revolution" and the obsession with "rights" - are on a collision course with reality in Ohio's Common Pleas Court......Phillip Distasio - accused of sexually assaulting nine boys with physical or mental disabilities - claimed that having sex with children "is a sacred ritual protected by civil-rights laws......I've been a pedophile for 20 years. The only reason I'm charged with rape is that no one believes a child can consent to sex..........."

Shocking? Certainly not - if one takes the aforementioned pillars to their "logical" conclusions: Right and wrong are relative, sexual taboos are anachronistic and individual rights are paramount.

Pedophiles are just a misunderstood and persecuted minority. One day, people will see sex between adults and children as natural as sex between adults of the same sex. Well, if "no one believes a child can consent to sex..." then why did this sick pedophile only attack physically and mentally handicapped boys? Why not try to rape a perfectly sound and healthy young boy?
Because just like young Jeffery Curley of Boston, a normal little boy would fight to the death. The two murderers of Jeffery were caught with lots of NAMBLA literature, and the NAMBLA people support them while they serve their sentences, including Christmas cards.

Now, about the "civil rights", I think Jeffery Curley had the right not to be raped, murdered, and thrown in a river in a Rubbermaid container. But that's just me...

You know, the vast majority of liberals that I know would also encourage a few shots to the back of this guy's head. And as a liberal, I can agree with that sentiment, as well.

And also, there is good reason to believe that there is a biological link to pedophilia...http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3077083/ is just one example of this. Though I doubt anyone, including the vast majority of liberals, would take people seriously if they tried to say all pedophiles are such. A great deal of it is to be found in their upbringing and a whole lot of other factors.

And please don't flame me for being a liberal. I enjoy the site for bringing up stories I don't always catch, so I do lurk here often.

First I don't believe that and second I wouldn't care if there was. Do you believe that other forms of brain damage can cause other sorts of personality disorders? Or is it just limited to pedophilia/sexuality in general you don't believe it exists? Like I said in my earlier post, I'm not trying to be antagonistic....this guys deserves the worst he can get...but in some cases, there is plenty of evidence for it.
