Hey newbie,
The Drudge link did not work, the TV station story was not in the story list and it's a pattern of stories from the "panties in a twist" left. I am jazzed that this story is now readily available. The dude bitched about SUV's and then as a tribute to Al Gore wing of transportation environmentalism, left this little gathering in an SUV. It's a so so story to people that have lowered the bar for the people that represent them in goverment. (see School Bus Nagin)

Here's a classic, from 1970: Nassau County Executive Eugene Nickerson (later the judge of "don't ask don't tell" fame) threw a press conference in March of 1970 to support protesters who were preparing to picket the GM and Chrysler buildings and march from there to the NY automobile show. Charging Detroit automakers with "criminal negligence," Nickerson wailed,

The car is not worth our air and our lives and our children’s lives. We are here to say ‘no’ to General Motors and to Ford and to Chrysler. We are here to protest their auto show and to protest their irresponsible abuse of the American public.

Isn't this "note" a smokescreen? My question is how much more efficient is this Envoy with e85 fuel? How much energy does it take yo make the fuel

So, caught leaving a speaking event in an SUV after warning others about gas guzzling and global warming. Then he tells the meddling media that his Envoy is ffv e85. But according to:

There he majored in political science, with a specialization in international relations. Upon graduation, he worked for a year at newsletter publisher Business International (now part of The Economist Group), and moved to Chicago, where he was a community organizer in the Altgeld Gardens housing project on the city's South Side. I especially love the part where the biographer writes that Obama didn't break with his Muslim faith but with his father's Muslim faith.

So Obama is either an apostate or the stealth Manchurian Muslim Candidate.

I would love to know who his mentors and influences were during his time at Altgeld Towers.
