So the fact that the only places in the middle east where muslims can vote are Israel and Iraq and the rest of the "governments are dictatorships or monarchies is somehow a boon to creativity? Why haven't the supposedly creative homo sapiens of the middle east found it within themselves to revolt and make their own future with their own freedoms? Is it because islam or "submission" has taught them to simply do what they are told?

I had forgotten how many great Muslim scientists, artists, politicians, philosophers, etc. that there were. These countries are run in the typical feudal style, with the top 5-10% having the majority of the wealth and the other 90-95% being kept in near poverty, other than the emirates. The masses are mostly uneducated and kept that way for a reason. Lebanon was once one of the most profitable democracies in the Middle East but with the influx of the Syrians and other jihadis can't even defend itself. Real creative.
