My spot has been empty for awhile because of my mom's dementias, she didn't know us anymore. But .. NOW SHE DOES! Knowing that helps a lot.

That is how I felt as well it was not my mum in the nursing home now she whole again. It was sad that it happened on Christmas Day for me but in way a wonderful present for us both.
For her to go on she was only was only going to deteriorate more mentally and physically. She is in a much better place now.

Losing your Mom is one of the toughest things in life.
When I found out my Mom's cancer had returned and was inoperable, I wept bitterly for my 'Mommy.'
She lived two weeks after that, and now has been gone over 20 years.
For me, the only consolation is that she is well and waiting for me. Praise the Lord that His promises are true!
