I've seen pics of him from 2000 and next to it one from now, and that man has really given years of his life for this country. He has really aged.
Since we're chatting (!), did I ever tell you that I met the president 4 times when he was running for office and once after 9/11? For some reason, he came to our town and the capitol a bunch of times for debates and just to visit.
He signed a book for me called "The World's Great Thinkers, The Political Philosophers". I asked him if he could see the title and he couldn't without his glasses. When I told him what the title was, he grinned that grin of his. Then I told him I really liked his dad, and boy, that stopped him from moving down the rope line for a while. He loves talking about his dad.
One other time he walked by for a debate and I yelled out (I was right next to him) "Go get 'em" and he came back and shook my hand, put his hand on my shoulder and said thank you.
He's got charisma to spare in person and I told my husband he'd never win because he doesn't come across on television. That shows you what I know. LOL
