I read somewhere in the last hour that the leadership of Hezbollah is based in Baalbeck. And there are reports of several Israeli airstrikes and reports of Isrealis engaged on the ground in and around the city of Baalbeck....could the Israelis be trying to take out the whole Hezzie leadership.
I think that is one of the purposes of this battle.
I finally got a look at the Google map - there sure must be something very "high value" there, to go in like that, that far north...
If the commandos were in trouble, I'd think IAF would be there like hornets. And I don't think I'd want to be in the vicinity.
