I'm to the point where even if I like their music,if they push their politics in my face,I won't listen to them anymore.That was their choice,so I make mine accordingly.

This is one of the reasons that I continue to be a Jimmy Buffett fan, despite his liberal leanings. I wouldn't even know about his politics except from reports of to whom he has contributed. He never brings it on stage.

Yes, I'll still listen to their music if they don't pontificate on politics/current affairs.

I seem to remember in 1996, during Bob Dole's campaign, Jimmy would change the lyrics to Margaritaville in concert to "It's all Bob and Newt's fault".

No wonder most of the musicians I like these days are dead. . . Stan Getz, Bob Wills, John Lee Hooker and Bill Haley haven't trashed Bush lately that I've heard!
