TEHRAN, Iran — Israel has ordained its own destruction by invading Lebanon, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday, according to the state news agency.
Addressing the clerical staff of the Friday prayer sermons in Tehran, Ahmadinejad said Israel and its supporters "should know that they cannot end the business that they have begun."
"The occupying regime of Palestine has actually pushed the button of its own destruction by launching a new round of invasion and barbaric onslaught on Lebanon," the official Islamic Republic News Agency quoted the president as saying

The use of the word "button" is sending an interesting message. What one button I come to think of is the one marked "cost." Iran is spending itself into a fall; just like the Soviet Union.

Iran has no intention of going to war with Israel or anyone else. They just talk smack, convince others to involve themselves in conflict, raising the price of oil in the progress while pandering to their audience.
Going to war themselves defeats the entire point of their Middle East power grab - they're content in being powerful, rich puppet masters.
The nuke program is to ensure that no one interferes and ruins their good time by attacking them directly.
