FWIW, here are my 2 rules for dealing with large animals:
You may either 1) Kill them swiftly and humanely in order to eat them -or- 2)Leave them alone
Deviating from these rules can cause serious injury or death......

Freggin` bull fighting is insane. The whole purpose of it is for the the bull "fighter" to avoid the bull while slowly, and I mean slooowly, bleed it to death. My father saw one years ago in the 1950`s, and he said it went on forever.. you can see the bulls muscles cramp up from lack of blood and oxegen which must hurt like hell, not to mention that the bull basically is in a panic state the whole time because some little Spanish prick won`t stop sticking him. They need meat, freggin` off the thing already, don`t torture it. That`s why I have no sympathy whatsoever for these a-holes who get off this and get messed up. Freggin` bull squashes them, tough!
French Bullfighting though is another matter...I heard 99.9999% of the time the chicken wins.
What they should do is create "liberal fighting"...Throw a liberal in a ring and have a picture of Bush on a cape, and when the liberal charges, you kick him in the `effin ass! OLE!!!

Hi Panzer-
Your succinct guideline for interacting with large animals sounds about right.

But not much for the tortured animals.

I realized after I wrote that, that it may have sounded like I was in favor of bullfighting, which I am most certainly not. However, the milder garbage that this dolt engaged in, namely pulling on the ears and tails of cows, would seem to do no real damage to the cows, while rather effectively putting the dolt out of commission, and most likely out of the gene pool. The passing annoyance to the cows seems like an acceptable cost, for the much greater benefit.

Thank you! I appreciate the honor!

Cows can be just as dangerous as bulls, make no mistake about that. The bulls will be a little bigger but the cows can have horns and will attack. We have cows that you cannot turn your back on and bulls who just want you to scratch their heads.

I feel bad for the guy but people who screw around with 1,000 pound animals are just begging to get hurt.
To: Ditter
I thought it was just bulls at the running of the BULLS. The additional cow pen is bizarre. Note to self. Don't pull a stressed cow's ear.

I thought the cows in the pen was a little strange too. I guess it is for people who don't want to run but want close contact with the animals. This guy got more contact than he wanted.
