CBS-TV reports that two people were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital. First report is that injuries are minor.

I doubt this was a dirty bomb, but this post made me wonder, how soon would we know an explosion was caused by one? I mean, if it happened like this, wouldn't they assume gas explosion and rush in and perhaps get contaminated?

Dirty pool, more likely. Looks like that doc wanted it to be a suicide and insurance scam.
