Not too hard to pick Rudy over a known Marxist and a absolute nutjob.

He'll play hell getting the Nomination, though.

I'd take Rudi over McCain and Hillary. Even though he is a gun-grabbing, pro-choice, gay-rights advocate. I hope it doesn't come to that. In fact, I think Rudi will not run.

Rudy can easily win the Presidentcy. Getting the nomination will be the hard part.

The "conventional, conservative wisdom" right now seems to be that Rudy is going to have a very difficult time in the primaries, especially in the southern states. But I predict that Rudy is gonna turn things upside down in the pre-primary DEBATES. This is where he can really shine.

Of course, the other candidates will attack Rudy, most notably on his prior positions on abortion and gun control (though at this point it's not entirely clear as to how he will define himself on those issues as a presidential contender). And I'll bet Rudy not only deflects their jabs with ease, but lands some punches of his own.

Rudy in 2008 is going to be like the New York Mets in 1969. They absolutely couldn't win, right?
