They aren't and at one point on the video it describes a member Simcox fired for asking questions about the money.
Cindy, this was the local affiliate of ABC in Phoenix. I'm not in Az, but often the local news is much more in sync with the population than the national news.
Their report was devastating to Simcox. He does not come across well at all. The volunteers interviewed had donated money and time. One older couple was from Arkansas, and felt so strongly about the border issue they packed up and went to AZ to help. They came away totally disillusioned.
If I was so passionate about an issue that I had started an organization solely dedicated to help solve it, asked for, and received, donations from hardworking people (who may or may not have been able to afford it) in the neighborhood of millions of dollars, and then been tainted by a local news report not only backed up by numerous volunteers of mine, but by my own untruths on camera, I'd open those books without blinking an eye.
Cindy, there was never a rebuttal. Simcox has ignored the questions, and is now asking for 55 million?
It seems the money is more important then the issue to him. Why else wouldn't he come clean?
