It's not fair but again it is what it is.

Only if the msm says it is. Ann says it is not fair and she won't play by their rules and here we are saying; oh yes you will. What gives?

Let me back up.

It is fine not to play by the msm rules. That is not my point. My point is that a vast majority of the country still only hears the msm spin and takes it as gospel. Therefore, they will not get any context or understand anything other than "Mean old conservatives are nasty to poor little widows."

I don't even care that Ann said this. It certainly gets her the attention she is seeking for her books. What I AM saying is that it sets back the conservative cause.

Folks who are not rabid partisans, which describes the vast majority of the voting public in this country, do not like this kind of stuff. Period. From the left or the right. They like civility, they want decency, they look for kindness and humanity. Honestly, that is why a vast majority do not like Hillary. I wish it was her politics, but for the most part it is her shrill, cold, heartless aura that sets their teeth on edge.

All I am saying is that Ann's approach does not make headway with non-partisans. That is not her role I suppose, but I just hate having to undo it. As I said earlier, it does serve a certain cathartic role with her base, but beyond that it can, at times, be destructive.
