Short of strong, clean physical evidence and/or freely-given confessions by those involved, I'm going to be doubtful of any guilty views. I'm not going to muster much confidence for 'witness testimony' from months afterwards from the Iraqi 'street.'
Remember the tales of death, rape, and murder in the Superdome? 10,000 dead?

Here's 3 different accounts by the same survivor, courtesy of Velveeta.
Makes you wonder if the girl plays lacrosse.

Good there is now an article from a legitimate source with the comparison many of us have made to ourselves and a few close friends.

Here's a quote from a Washington Post story from some woman named Aine Donovan, who's the director of the Ethics Institute at Dartmouth College. I'm not exactly sure how "ethical" it is to declare someone gulity and the incident "the worst episode of the war" before the investigation has even been completed or made public.
"If you look at what happened in Haditha, you had soldiers stressed to the point of no return, and they snapped," Donovan said. "This will be remembered as the worst episode of this war. This will damage the entire profession. You're never going to restore peace by killing civilians."
