Not only that. Mike is in the last year(s) of his radio career, after all he is 64+ and father time is around the corner.
The problem is there will not be anyone to replace him when he's gone.
Enjoy him while you still can.
I started making tapes of his best moments(rants, Savageisms,weird calls, getting angry at callers, interviews with noteworthies, remember James Ellroy mentioning his fathers big schmendrick,...) 5 years ago realizing this guy has the best commentary in the business, a kind of history in the making via the Savage mind.
I have about 20 90min. tapes so far and counting. Classic stuff.
