It's ironic isn't it. Not really. The "Right" has stampeding to the authortarian position since the Nixon years.
Yes really.
Whether it's authoritarian or not and whether it has been going on since Nixon or not, it's ironic that the same posters advocate parts of HR 4437 and criticize this Bloomy proposal.

Same here. I'm not even sure where mine is. The passport usually is a legitimate replacement, so I just use that.

As the FSU nations get a taste of freedom, they begin to embrace the concepts and precepts espoused by the founders of our nation -- while we, on the other hand, race headlong into the breed of same statist hell that dominated their lands for the better part of a century. Ummmmmm "legal workers".... I am a US citizen...and I am a legal worker. If this moron thinks he's gonna get a national DNA database....he ain't firing on all cylinders.
