Condolences and prayers for you, Bernie, and for all of Maggie's family and friends.
I was shocked at the news of Maggie's passing as I am sure everyone is. Her strength and the courage of her fighting spirit had us all convinced she would whip this crisis just as she surely had overcome other health problems in the past.
As I learned with the loss of my precious wife, Miss Ruthie, same month last year. All the prayers and faith in the world does not always reverse what is preordained to be. God knows best and he alone decides when we will make that journey that we all know awaits us.
Your post indicates that you already know and accept that fact. I'm not preaching here, just reminding you, that as I have learned in my own experience, you will question every move and action you have made during these last days together and think, I could have had her with me longer if only I had or hadn't done this or that-ain't so-God alone makes that decision.
Our prayers shall remain with you my friend.
God bless you,
FJM

Yes, you speak the truth F. J. for that is exactly what I have been doing. But like you I accept God's will and way. And yes I am feeling the joy Maggie feels now.
thank you.

Thank you so much F.J. for sharing with Bernie the wisdom you gained from your own precious wife's passing. YOu are so right, God makes the decisions. We can second guessas much as we wish, but when it comes down to it, we have accept God's decision on faith.
