I hear that Freepers sometimes attend these events to support the fallen soldiers and those attending the funerals.

If so, they should carry signs that say, "FRED PHELPS, GET A JOB!!!"

They have all this spare time to picket funerals. Don't any of those people work for a living?

I can't believe that when they pass the plate in their "church" they can get enough money to keep showing up everywhere they do. I don't know where they get the funds from, I wonder if they are tax exempt also? Seems the IRS should take a good look at them if they are.

Since so many States now restrict Phelps' activities at funerals, he is starting to picket military hospitals.

Patriot Guard Riders (anyone can be a member and you don't need a bike to belong, I believe) did not come to either of these because it is not their mission, but some from Rolling Thunder (made up of only combat vets) did come.
