I think Rush knows that the President is a man of character and has much respect for him.
But he disagrees with him sometimes and, I think, does it in a fairly reasoned, respectful manner.
He remains my favorite.
I agree that he actually does, but sometimes he's trying so hard to make it clear that he DOES disagree (and isn't a shill for the WH), that he actually says things that imply, or state outright that the President isn't a man of his word. (Like he did Monday about the speech - before I turned the radio off).
What frosted me recently was when the illegal protestors were gathering, Rush actually told a lie when he said "President Bush isn't going to say anything against them. He AGREES with them."
Well, that wasn't true at all, but Rush said it. It's the first time I've ever heard him tell an outright untruth, and I can't quite get over it.
I still think he's the best of the talkers, but he's really messed up on this one, IMO.
