I have a theory, which I will expand upon in an upcoming rant, for why the Republicans are doing this. I think they are setting up the DEMS for a major temper tantrum which will expose them finally for the true nut-cases they are.

I think they want to snatch everything away at the last minute, like snatching food from a dog's bowl, so it will snarl at you and show you what he is really like.

When this bill stalls in committee, you are going to see illegals marching in the streets again, flush with support from the Democrats. The public will react in horror, and vote against Democrats for their support of lawlessness.

This is not some brilliant rope-a-dope, Pukin. The Dems have already been exposed as nutcases numerous times. And now the Republicans are being exposed as the worst kind of sellouts. Not exactly a good situation.
