My comment was not that we conservatives should vote for a RAT, traitor but rather that we need to field a conservative challenger, no matter what Bush/Rove say as that will be the only candidate that a conservative can consider voting for. I fear that many disheartened conservatives will have "pressing engagements" come election day - which will in effect, give us a RAT.
I've personally held my nose once too often and voted for a Republican even when he/she was far more liberal than the RAT running. Somehow this insanity must be stopped.

Unfortunately, although you didn't meant we should vote for a RAT, many out there do and thus why they keep pushing agenda the public @ large don't want and it teeters on arrogance. This prevailing attitude of we'll do what we want because well, who are you going to vote for Nancy Pelosi, that is just wrong.
I will go vote but it makes my blood boil. I just don't know how things got this far out of control.
