I bet you don't live near Laredo, or anywhere else right on the border. If you actually live on the border and don't see a problem with illegals, then you either have your head in the sand or you have some agenda for wanting the borders open.
And it's not just at the borders.
We were having some work done in my area and I asked the prospective contractor if his workers were all legal. He got very angry at me for asking. That tells me his answer.
