TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will target Israel first if the United States does anything "evil", a senior commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday.
The United States says it wants Iran's nuclear standoff with the West solved diplomatically but has refused to rule out military action.
"We have announced that wherever America does something evil, the first place that we target will be Israel," Revolutionary Guards Rear Admiral Mohammad-Ebrahim Dehqani was quoted as saying by Iran's student news agency ISNA.
The Islamic Republic has never recognized Israel and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the Jewish state to be "wiped off the map."
Dehqani said naval wargames held in the Gulf last month "carried the warning to those countries that threaten Iran, including America and the Zionist regime".
Experts said the wargames, in which Iran said it had tested new missiles and torpedoes, were a thinly veiled threat that it could disrupt vital Gulf oil shipping lanes if it was attacked.
Just tell them that we are not restraining Israel anymore. That ought to do it.
What makes Iran think Israel will allow itself to be targeted?
If Iran attacked Israel, Europe would cheer.

That's of course after Israel spends 12 months having an internal dialogue about an "appropriate" response and another 12 months trying to get resolutions through the security council at the UN and then building a coalition of the willing etc etc ....my a*s!
I say "bring it on Mahmoud"...you'll get to meet your 12th imam very very quickly if you hit Israel...and I promise you it won't be anywhere on this planet.

Iran just keeps ratcheting it up.
At the rate they keep jawing Israel is gonna hit them long before we can work through our diplomatic red tape.
Then the task at hand would be to make sure there isn't a "next time."
OK Iran, everytime a suicide bombing or roadiside bombing takes place in the USA, the UK, Europe, Israel, Iraq or Afghanistan then we will unleash on Terahn. SOunds fair right? SHEESH

I agree Chavez is playing the same game with the oil prices...and the clowns in this country want to boycott Exxon. People, people, people, Citgo is owned by the Venezualeans. If you want to boycott an oil company think about which one please.
