Stunning facts about the proposed immigration bill

SENATOR SESSIONS ON SECURING AMERICA'S BORDERS ACT

Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee.

I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate.

Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor — legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us.

Stand Up For America !

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag...
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...
And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

May 1 immigrant boycott aims to 'close' cities

"There will be 2 to 3 million people hitting the streets in Los Angeles alone. We're going to close down Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, Phoenix, Fresno," said Jorge Rodriguez, a union official who helped organize earlier rallies credited with rattling Congress as it debates the issue.

"We want full amnesty, full legalization for anybody who is here (illegally)," Rodriguez said. "That is the message that is going to be played out across the country on May 1."

***

The people who think they are going to go shopping Monday to counteract these demonstrations are deluding themselves. They won't be able to get to the shopping centers if the cities are closed down.

This also begs the question, which of our city police forces are going to stand down and let them disrupt the lives of the citizens like this? Has anyone started a list? The mayors of the target cities need to get freeped big time.

I repeatedly wonder out loud, How is it that the IRS manages (and has managed for so long) to overlook auditing the companies that are known to employ illegals...? How is it?"

"Good question! Bill O'Reilly gets audited, frequently he claims. Why not Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and others known to hire illegals?"

At that time, Bill O'Reilly was being attacked by the Clinton Administration's IRS. GWB hasn't to my knowledge, used the IRS agency against his enemies!

On Wal-Mart and Home Depot...in the Wal-Mart illegal alien case, Wal-Mart didn't hire illegals. They we're hired by a cleaning contractor, but, Wal-Mart paid for the settlement (I don’t know why).

Home Depot doesn't hire illegals either. Illegals hang out in their parking lots in hopes of being hired by a home owner, or contractor.

The Bush administration has been very reluctant to pursue and fine business folks that hire illegal aliens. The last large Homeland Security raid was pure BS window dressing. You won’t see that again for a long, long time.

No, but the point with that is, the IRS would be hard-pressed to NOT follow presidential directives, i.e., "check into all these phony social securities numbers being submitted by the U.S. by employers (given by their employees).

Yet another dog-and-pony show to give the appearance that immigration laws were being enforced.

Some of the cities are "sanctuary cities". They won't do anything.

Link: County decides to eat $32,721 bill from immigration march in Fort Myers

Lee County officials say it cost county departments $32,721 to provide the extra services required by the presence on April 10 of 75,000 demonstrators angry about a proposed immigration bill. County managers say Public Safety, the Department of Transportation and Facilities Management spent most of the money on overtime.

The county also apparently does not intend to bill the organizers or otherwise try to be repaid for the cost of dealing with the Fort Myers rally.

"The $32,721 is well within our ability to absorb in existing budgets," County Manager Don Stilwell wrote in a memo to county commissioners Monday. "It is our recommendation that we do not seek any kind of reimbursement."

Personnel costs accounted for $19,762 of the total, with miscellaneous costs, everything from portable toilets to food and water, making up the rest.

While the county's bill was relatively small, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, which is considered a constitutional office, spent much more.

Maybe the question could be framed in a better way than I did, but the IRS is responsible for collecting income taxes where they are due, and they would know who the empoyers of illegals are, such as Tyson Chicken for example.

As for other underground ways of transacting business, no SS #s involved, the IRS is probably as frustrated as we are. Well... I was just wondering...

What I've gleaned from talk radio today...

Many employers are offering 'incentives' to keep them from rallying Monday

Now, tell me if I'm wrong LaDita...but if 'we' American CITIZENS that is, were to say hey I'm taking off for a Cubs game, wouldn't the 'incentive' NOT to do this be,say, being Fired!?

Just heard on the radio we are expecting more than 100 K of them in Grant Pk here, some group Create American was babbling and getting things all stirred up, but they expect it to be peaceful and no riot police will be on hand

Can you say Democratic Convention?

THIS is precisely what we need to get things in our corner sad to say

TEN Fun Things to Do at Walmart

1. Take shopping carts for the express purpose of filling them and stranding them at strategic locations.

2. Ride those little electronic cars at the front of the store.

3. Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals throughout the day.

4. Start playing Calvinball; see how many people you can get to join in.

5. Contaminate the entire auto department by sampling all the spray air fresheners.

6. Challenge other customers to duels with tubes of gift wrap.

7. Leave cryptic messages on the typewriters.

8. Re-dress the mannequins as you see fit.

9. When there are people behind you, walk REALLY SLOW, especially in thin narrow aisles.

10. Walk up to an employee and tell him in an official tone, "I think we've got a Code 3 in Housewares," and see what happens.

and if all else fails Speak English it will drive them nuts!

Got this from my liberal RAT Senator and I have NEVER heard him talk like this....I've inserted my comments in italics.

Dear Mr.:

Thanks for contacting me about immigration. All of us can agree the system is broken and needs to be fixed. Yeah right, you want those illegals to vote your way....right away....

I believe the U.S. needs a smart, realistic plan to address illegal immigration—one that protects our borders He's NEVER brought up any secure borders biull in all the years he's been in office or supported one.... and ensures that all immigrants play by the rules. To protect our borders, we need to use cutting-edge technology, including unmanned aerial vehicles. And, we need to enforce our existing laws. Why? Nelson doesn't advocate enforcing existing gun laws he only wants more gun laws We also need to create a guest worker program that provides a path to legal status for those who qualify and play by the rules and deports those who do not. Playing by the rules means paying your taxes, keeping a job, and learning English. Never have I heard a RAT utter this! I wouldn't be surprised to see him chastised by the Party for this one. That means he must be in a tight race and the odds are looking good for Katherine Harris in that case.

Thanks for sharing your concerns with me, and be assured I’ll keep them in mind as the Senate considers this issue. Yeah....right.

Ten MORE fun things to do at Walmart:

11. Tune all the radios to a polka station; then turn them all off and turn the volumes as high as possible.

12. Play with the automatic doors.

13. Walk up to complete strangers and say, "Hi! I haven't seen you in so long!..." etc. See if they play along to avoid embarrassment.

14. While walking through the clothing department, ask yourself loud enough for all to hear, "Who BUYS this crap, anyway?"

15. Repeat Number 14 in the jewelry department.

16. Ride a display bicycle through the store; claim you're taking it for a "test drive".

17. Follow people through the aisles, always staying about five feet away. Continue to do this until they leave the department.

18. Play soccer with a group of friends, using the entire store as your playing field.

19. As the cashier runs your purchases over the scanner, look mesmerized and say, "Wow. Magic!"

20. Put M & M's on layaway.

And if all else fails Sing the American National Anthem while busting open a pinata'
