Besides, the Muslim threat comes from the right, not the left. In the Middle East, they are called Conservative hard liners.

It really irks me that many Conservatives actually think that most of these Democrat ideologues who spout off all this crap, actually believe it.
For the most part they do not and are simply acting out their roll as the minority but they do a lousy job of it. But much of their vocal base are crazy as loons.

Except for the simple fact that Conservatives are advocates of freedom... which is diametrically in opposition to the ideals of Islam. As far as Democrats are concerned, I beg to differ. While there are many weak Republicans, it is the left in this country who try to tie our hands in every conflict. It is they who weaken us, and it is they who have taken over the Democrat Party.
And during the breakup of the Soviet Union, the hard-line Communists were called conservative.
Which just means that the labels are meaningless
How about we just say "pro-liberty" and "anti-liberty"? Islamists and Communists both view the individual as the slave of the Group
