No, and here's the thing: If they make the current 20 million legal they will be falling over themselves to make the following 20 million legal 5 years from now so that the first 20 million keeps voting for the party who is trying hardest to give amnesty to the next 20 million.
And of course that premise is based on the current political thinking that the citizens of Latino heritage want all the Latino illegal aliens to become citizens.
Whether that premise is right or wrong is irrelevant, the two parties believe that is what Latinos want so that will determine future policy.
Established Constitutional law says that any kid born to these guest workers in the U.S. will be an American citizen. Even if the system deports the kids along with their parents it amounts to a massive back door increase in legal immigration.
