Today President Bush gave a terrific, all-inclusive, emotional talk on Iraq, and on all of the important and critical dangers and hopes for the free world!!!
And yet I have seen almost no real press coverage of the whole thing---It was covered by the big three Cable Networks but still not much chatter or any other comments!! (I could have missed some)
His conviction, his composure, his determination, his honesty were shining all thru the remarks.
Give him a chance to keep freedom growing around the world!! Give him more press now that his "ratings" are down!!!!

After voting for Mr Bush twice, I have been sorely dissappointed he promised tort reform-no reform,
he promised Social Security reform- nothing, promised to fight terror- busy nation building, not alot of dead terrorists(what purpose is a sharia/democracy). Now busy
importing more off the books workers and opening our borders, spending like a liberal on steroids, Bush has
lost his credibility, and his loyal fans sound more detached from reality the more they yammer on about how well things are going.

I watched most of it too and thought it was good but I am disheartened that the President speaks so passionately about the freedom of Iraqi citizens while the American citizenship paid for with blood, sweat, and tears is given away to law breakers. I find it very disappointing and bordering on hypocritical.

oh wait, I forgot that it is "earned" citizenship...

FNC's Special Report with Chris Wallace sitting in for Brit Hume tonight played an excerpt from the Q&A for the funny item at the end of the show--where the President complains that the book he was given has little print, no pictures.

Some of us actually step away from the debate-button to experience other news
Then maybe you can tell us what he is promising Vicente Fox in Mexico right now? That would be news.
Planning to retire to his ranch in central Mexico in December, Fox has one eye on his legacy and would love to sign off with a victory on immigration.
"It'll mean a lot for him personally," said Andres Rozental, a former adviser to the Fox government on foreign policy.

Bush's humor came thru loud and clear thru much of his session. Too bad he's seen as a sort of dull and boring type!

Who cares that he's mouthing another speech written by his PR people?
He's been selling us out, and only now people are beginning to notice.
To: hedgetrimmer
Are you assuming President Bush is promising something to Fox? Do you have the inside scoop? Do tell. Assuming and having full knowledge are entirely 2 different things.
I plan to read the transcript of Bush's speech to Freedom House. Have you already read it? If so, please offer your thoughts...provided you actually read it...in order to stay on topic of this particular thread.
Good day.

Did you visit this thread to stir the pot or to respond to Bush's speech at Freedom House?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
Thank you for sharing the entire transcript, RBA. I enjoyed reading it.
I wonder how many of the Bash Bush At Any Cost or Reason camp have actually read it..?

To: mrs tiggywinkle
Many, many thanks for the ping! Without it, I would have missed this thread...and you know why. LOL
To: nopardons
Don't expect responses. It would seem that honest and thoughtful dialogue just doesn't happen with the Bush bashers.

Zero. His words fly in the face of their blame and bash Bush agenda.
Some here have even called for his Impeachment!
