I would also suspect that they are able to get away with paying them sub-standard hourly wages. Why is there no outcry from the ACLU and other lib agencies on this new form of slavery.

I mostly just lurk and visit this when pinged - but I wanted to comment on this - In reality - they are not paid substandard wages - 'they' know the employment laws and how to fight them better than some citizens do. Legal status doesn't matter with labor boards - and probably not with unemployment departments.
Typically, it's not the major corporations who actually employ the illegals, it's temporary services that are contracted to place employees there. I dealt with this as an HR manager several years ago. There was a major nationwide temporary agency that every time it was time to hire one of the employees - I couldn't because they had fake social security cards (We had over 120 temporaries with this agency, and I'm not exaggerating that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, had bad SS cards, or state ID). Legally, I wasn't allowed to ask for the SS cards until I was in the hiring process. We had the temps for 90 days before they were eligible to be brought on as employees (pretty standard to have them for 90-120 days - or to keep a temporary workforce - easier to deal with cyclical downtimes when they are temporary and someone else has to deal with unemployment.) I worked with the temp service for about 120 days before I completely cut ties with them.
The INS offers all kinds of assistance to employers who do want to do the right thing. Social security now offers verification, and the IRS will send notices of incorrect SS#s quarterly. There is no reason that employers can't comply with laws.

About 1,000 Christian Arabs flee Arab-dominated areas because of Arab terrorism and harassment, according to Reuters News Agency. Examples were cited of Moslems beating up Christians, uprooting their olive trees and scrawling graffiti that show nuns being raped.
Hardest hit has been the Christian community of Bethlehem where tourism has declined since Arabs began the Oslo War attack against Israel. "If the situation continues, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of the Nativity will become cold, empty museums," said Samir Qumsieh, a Palestinian-Christian businessman.
