I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...
Jon is getting better and better!
I had another channel on, what'd he say?
John Stewart: "Wow, I can't wait to see Oscar's tribute to montages!" ROFL ;^D
I'm pretty sure the worst movie of all time is Manos, the Hands of Fate. God I miss mystery science theater.
When half of your award show is dedicated to montages of much better films than the ones nominated, you're in trouble. "We're gonna need a montage..." /sings
Also, Eric Bana is hot hot hot.
My Dad says the theme song to Brokeback Mountain is "Homo on the Range"
Heh, pretty funny. I bet no one laughed.
I'm kinda liking the humor so far.
What's alarming is the number of perverts who went to see the film.....used to be there were just a few in the "closets" where they belonged.
Their only supporters are maybe one or two family members and their "significant other". Everyone else thinks they're gross, nasty people. What a load to carry around.
I'm a dollar movie fan myself. Harry Potter and Pride and Prejudice are there this week. I'll probably go see them both.
ALBA!!! looking a bit skinny - its a hollywod thing.
Not a soul. (in the audience)
Gotta agree with you there... Eric Bana. Yum Yum. Was great in Munich and I loved him in Black Hawk Down and Troy.
Just saw he made a movie with Sarah Jessica Parker. I wonder if there were any rumors about those two.
$1.75 at theater<$3.50 at home
Plus, it's better popcorn than I have at home.
Pride and Prejudice is already out on DVD.
I want to see them on the big screen. Anyway, the dollar movie is cheaper than renting the DVD.
I think her brunette color would look better with this dress.
