Could be from around that time somewhere, or even more recent There are theories that as ice retreated, Asians Mongoloids or even ppl from Europe could have crossed land bridges from when sea levels were lower, and began inhabiting the edges of the continent which would have been the only places warm enough to survive at the time. Global catastrophic event caused the last ice age in the first place, sudden continental shifting, so it is possible that this skeleton could be from before that time as well.
There are plenty of theories out there, and we can only study the evidence of what have been a one time event that will never happen again.
As far as earth study goes, we don't as yet have the ability to study but a thin layer of the earth. It's equivalent to the layer of skin that peels off your shoulders. That's it.That's the layer most earthquakes come from. What's under that is only a guess. Some say liquid. some say.. well say anything you like, Cheesecake. Mmmm cheesecake
