Hackett was infuriated by the subterfuge. “I felt like I got fucked by the Democratic Party because they enticed me in and then they pulled the rug out from beneath me. It sounds eerily familiar to sending in the military to Iraq, which was a misuse of the military, and then not giving them what they need to fight.”

He's been hosed and yet he still manages to get in a democrat talking point. Amazing. What's really funny is how much of a minority this guy is militarily. I'd say better than 90% of the soldiers I know who were in theater were/are glad to be there and think this is a mission worth doing.

I find it troubling we sent an officer with Hackett's attitude to Iraq to potentially infect or demoralize the troops.

I have seen stats that about 90% of Officers are Republican voters. It took the Democrats 50 years to get us that way, but their campaign of anti military, hate the soldiers, that started in Vietnam goes on unabated today. Hence my philosophy that any soldier who claims to be a Democrat suffers from a Self Hate complex.
