In some form or fashion, I have known the players in what I am about to describe as a series of regrettable moments at the funeral of Coretta Scott King.
The one I know least, President George W. Bush, won both my sympathy and respect for gallantly enduring the slings and arrows pointed directly at him during what should have been a celebration of a great woman, but instead turned into a political rally

(Well, there was that one occurance on a site about how to obtain travel visas about 5 years ago but that doesn't count and I was put back on after the admin understood whast happened.).

If Bush wanted to, he could have the IRS remove the tax exempt status from this church. To hold what amounted to a political rally at the funeral of Coretta Scott King should provide ample proof that political activities are going on in some churches during services. Bush won't do it, though. He's way too classy to sick the IRS on them even though he could. The whole thing stunk.

And I do not mind someone threatening to egg my house (of course I know you're jnot serious), what i do mind is someone attacking me in an ad hominum fashion, knowing not the slightest thing about me, even if it is as mundane as 'throwing eggs'.

I'm with you 100% brother. I don't get it at all, other than what I wrote about people being more interested in flaunting their egos and coming out on top with every issue presented here, taking their normal daily life's frustrations out here, etc. It is very odd, indeed. The way it works is a gang forms, one or two start, then others with absolutely nothing to add join in, because its the easiest thing to do, to be part of the crowd.
